Sixteen years and ten months ago, I ran my first ever half marathon with no idea where it would lead. One half marathon at a time, I chased a dream that stretched across America.
On 8/16/2026 in Anchorage Alaska, that dream will become reality. After running 137 half marathons, I will have completed a half marathon in all 50 states and Washington DC.The miles brought challenges, unforgettable scenery, new friendships and lessons in perseverance. There were early mornings, sore legs, countless training runs and moments when finishing seemed harder than starting but every step was worth it!!
This accomplishment isnt just about crossing finish lines. It is about commitment, consistency and believing that big goals are achieved one mile at a time.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone(family, friends, fellow runners, race directors) who encouraged me along the way and shared in this journey, I will always remember the roads I traveled, the places I visited and the memories made over the past 16 years and 10 months.
